    Ignore Pet/Companion

Is there (and if not) a command to not target all pets minions and companions of others?

I know Minions are able to be turned off but targeting 10 carbuncles during a FATE is annoying. I'd rather a command line that removes the ability to target them at all regardless of targeting method. I have no reason to so please make this happen or let me know if this a possibility already.

    Thanks in Advance.

I'm afraid to admit I have this same problem. On PS3 it's particularly annoying. I can't wait to find out it's some obvious setting I've overlooked. I swear I've tried every permutation in the targeting menu and can't seem to target around all the Carbuncles flooding my screen.

    Target Filters.

Character config >> Control Settings >> Filters
    from the pause menu.

It's quite extensive and I've found it helps a lot; especially in FATEs where there's a ton of Carbys and companion chocobos.

Hope that helps you out at all.

I use an Xbox handle on my PC. Hope this helps:
I enabled the CustomizedTargeting Settings found in the Main Menu. I made necessary adjustments. I can't tell you exactly how I set them cause I can't log atm but it explains itself. I have it set up where I can choose to target only Enemies, Party, NCP, or Others. Then, you'll need to use the Directional Button to choose targets(only use DirectionalButton, if you use the "Hold-Down R/LTrigger, SelectTarget per R/LButton" targeting option, the TargetingSystem will still target Pets). I also use my "Lock-on"(Not the lock-on that simply highlights your target) which is the lock-on that keeps your character facing the Targets direction no matter what. So I can run around facing the Target at all times XD)

I still would like a /command line as was used in XI that ignored all pets. What we have now treats pets as NPCs and in many cases it is necessary to target a NPC in a situation where pets are present.
