How do you re-register on the PS3?
How do you re-register on the PS3?
Okay, I finally got it to work. And, it only took me ten hours to do it. Shouldn't this stuff be explained when you start this in the first place? And thank you to djnealb because your diligence really helped.

It's more a post for collecting CE items, but the process is the same for finding the code you need to input to have your game actually activate even though you THINK you already put in your correct code. If you have purchased through a different third party digital download service, you will likely need to do something similar and attempt to locate a key on their website under your games library in order to truly activate your purchased copy.
For the PS3, isn't it just the matter of getting the 12-digit to work, then it would prompt for you to sign in with your existing SE account which should determine your region? - PSN needs to be on the same region as well though.
I see... feel a little dumb now haha. thanks for the post though!
same issue and whats even worse is their horrible customer support. My tickets keep getting automatically closed after 4 days without them even looking at it. I already had to go through 30 minutes of figuring out to make a ticket each time. An no direct number to call? I PAID FOR THIS PRODUCT!...
I bought my Collectors E. from Toys r Us and I haven't got any codes for it.... hmmmmm
Thank you - This solution works for those who purchased from Gamefly as well. I was able to retrieve a new code from my gamefly account page and activate using the last link above. Now if I can just get in the world...Hey everybody! I did a little more sleuthing and managed to solve the problem.
First, I went to the Square Enix support page here.
Second, I clicked on the link for FF XIV ARR, which took me here.
Third, in the search field I typed in registration code, which brought me here.
Then, out of curiosity, I clicked the link that said "When does Early Access end?" That brought up this page, which not only answered my question, but solved this problem. You can see that page here, and follow it's instructions to register the actual game. I hope that helps everybody.
tl;dr click that last link
Holy shit, I forgot to tell y'all how I found the actual code. I went back to Amazon, went to My Games, and under ARR there was a button to view the product key. Click that and it will show you a different code than the one you used for Early Access. That's how it worked on Amazon. I don't know about other services.
