Spotted bots near the Bridge close to Drybone on Midgard. 4 players standing on rock killing same mobs over and over. Fates popped they didn't join in. They stuck with same mobs.
They where there for several hours. I went to dinner came back hour and half later they were still there wearing lvl 1 gear.They never move. Same close little party position on the rock. Reported but no idea what happened to them as I left to do dungeon runs with FC.

Haven't personally spot botters yet, but had gilsellers spamming my tell.

Wondering how did they got my name

they get your name because u can literally go to player search and tell everyone who is online in a certain server so they use a bot to mass spam tells to everyone on the server i was in a voice chat with 30 clanamates we all got same tell within 10 seconds lmao

Funny how there are so many posts about booting afk people, yet no one wants to have a reporting system for RMTs who spam the game to make money in RL.

Oh i would definitely love a system as where you right click these bots names you can report them for specific reasons, one being gil selling.

The gil selling bots did ruin FF XI though so i can't see SE doing anything right this time around either.

There are gold seller bots in wow as well but at least they allowed players to use addons in that game and one of them which is my favorite is an anti-gold seller addon. I imagine things will only get worse in this game if SE doesn't pull their thumbs out of their rearend and implement some sort of anti-spam filter system.

It should be standard in mmorpgs these days. These developers claim they take a stand against gold/gil sellers, but seriously, if they did, they'd have every possible countermeasure implemented before launch, yet they fail to address these issues, as if they, themselves have a stake in the gil/gold selling industry.

Last night i had 5 different gil sellers whispering me. Every single one of them whispered me with 10 whispers at a time.

Yeah, i do hope they implement more options and countermeasures against these bottomfeeding carpetmunchers... I'm just not keeping my hopes up.

^ a good addition to help with the gold spammers would be..u know how u can rigght click on a name in chat .. well u need to add right in that window (add to block list) and (report player) ... couldnt take that much of code to add those to links in there
