Client launch is asking for product codes again.

Last night/early morning on 8/30/2013 I was disconnected from Exodus while I was trying to work out how to execute macros using the Gamepad interface, i.e. doing a little reading. Now when I restart the client it is asking me to supply product code as if I am just first installing my software. I don't want to find the email and enter them again as I see no news indicating something like this was in the works and worried about having been hacked. Anyone else have a issue like this recently.

Same exact problem. Not super clear on why I'm being told I haven't registered.

This is what I get when I start the program. I've been playing fine for days.

The following steps are required in order to begin playing FINAL FANTASY XIV.
Please follow the onscreen instructions to complete the required procedures.
Set up a Square Enix Account.
    Enter your registration code.

Yes that is what I am getting and I am afraid if I try to enter them again I will lose my character on Exodus.

I re-input my code and it said the code isn't valid because it's been used already.

I then tried to log in to Lodestone and I got this message:

Use of the Lodestone requires a FINAL FANTASY XIV service account with at least one character.
Please log-in again after you have created a character in-game.

I'm now pretty goddamn angry. I paid for this game, and not only is it telling me I haven't registered, but I also now (according to Lodestone) have no characters.

Ditto. (PS3) After getting this I logged onto my SE account and used the code that came with my hard copy to register. I had only my EA code registered so I figured it needed this one as well. Afterwards there was no change. Another thing I noticed, when logging onto my account through the ffxiv website, it does not detect my character when it did previously. Curiously, it DID find it for the forums.

Too bad to not be able to play on a Friday evening. Hopefully we get a resolution soon.

    **SOLUTION**(PS3)
If you are EA and have not registered your account with the codes that came with your hard copy:
Login to your SE account, select your profile, and register the 18 digit code that came on the red card with the booklet.
After this you need to log on to the playstation store and "redeem code" with the 12 digit code on the back of the book. It will prompt you to redownload the client, but you can skip that.
    Relaunch the game and voila!

I just solved this issue (on the PC) by the following procedure.

    1. I went to my purchase history.

    2. Took the serial number found in the purchase history (not the unlock code) and put it in when the client prompted me for a code.

    3. ???

    4. Played FFXIV.

Joanathis, I'm not sure I'm finding the correct link to click on in order to register the 18-digit code on the red card found in the physical copy of the PS3 version. All I can find is "register new account" anywhere I look, but I don't want a new account. Which URL do you mean when you say "Login to your SE account?" Is it just "http://www.square-enix.com/na/account/" ?

...unless... the early access account type is invalid, and I need to register the number from this leaflet as a "new account." With that being said, if I use the same login information on the client, will it still work?
