    My female hyur feels weird too... I would gladly sacrifice some post processing effects to trade some more detailed body shapes.

    I agree, the 1.0 models look significantly better than the 2.0 ones. Adding an option to use the 1.0 model over the 2.0 model seems like a great solution. Of course there will always be people who are selfish and only want themselves to be happy... I say whatever to them.

    Try bumping settings up. WHile characters do have a difference to compensate with a lot more environmental aspects.

    My screens and game looks a hell of a lot better then those purposely low setting 2.0 images.

    Yeah your pc may have a better graphics card than mine but graphics alone and texture quality won't increase the size or magically re scale what is clearly no longer existent on the 2.0 model.

    The graphics was not purposely lowered it was actually increased to the max that 2.0 would allow on my computer, If you think 2.0 has better graphic capability's than 1.0 had you would be disappointed to discover it's quite the opposite.

    We did all know in advance that 2.0 would most likely have less capabilities graphically, but the lower body change seems deliberately altered.

    Considering the lack of proportion now there should be another option for players who would prefer a body that represents the old body shape.

    I always found the Miqo'te female hips a little too wide for my taste. I sort of prefer the newer one, sort of that is. My primary issue is with the Miqo'te males, their proportions do indeed seem off in their shoulders/chest area. It feels a little off to the rest of their body. The second issue is some of their movements. I get the feeling SE was going for a more feral approach which was good in a way.

    But their idle stance, it looks in some ways ridiculous. Their walk is fine, I can't sum it up any more than feeling "cat-like". Kudos on this. Running gives the impression of almost like they're prancing. I lack the words to precisely describe it but it doesn't look natural in the least. Even their backs if not wearing a shirt look like it contours a way not even human.

    When I first saw the sprint I definitely got the feel they were trying to portray a feral-like gender, but even it looks plain bizarre and unnatural. Aside from that their emotes fit well, as do their reactions.

    Wow... just wow... you guys have way too much time on your hands if you're spending it comparing body proportions instead of playing the game. I'd hardly consider these 'game breaking', and if you really want to oggle Miqo’te backsides there's a rule 34 somewhere I'm sure. Apologies for my bluntness, but of all the issues brought up, I consider this one to be in the smallest and most insignificant areas which could use improvement.

    Can't we let the devs focus on real issues for the time being?

    Hmm.. dx11 would have to be a pretty huge difference to change a body's shape completely.

    Something tells me it won't change much about shape and only texture quality.

    If dx11 did give our characters more shape it would still be uneven because it would just give the character shape all round.

    The shape would still look miss match with the upper body because the entire body would be effected by the dx11 patch, not just the lower body.

    In the end it's not simply we find it game breaking, we find it immersion breaking. it's kinda like using stock sounds during just about everything (example Metro 2033) it's that nagging aspect that doesn't exactly ruin the game... but it definitely requires a mod or some kind of game alteration to make it bearable. With the body portion, considering they give us the ability to choose between legacy and current control settings, we should be able to put up a setting to allow a difference between 1.0 and ARR character models. This in itself, would be up in the graphic settings if nothing else.
