The forums were much more active during the final stages of beta so I don't necessarily think that receiving less likes now in a longer time frame proves a huge drop in support. Also, even if it did then so what? I don't think it's polite or constructive to discredit someones request without explaining any personal reason that you are against such a change being implemented. Your post is a direct attack on the original poster, their attitude and approach but offers no opinion towards the topic itself.

I don't understand why you are trying to shoot down this thread? The original post is only requesting plans to be made and not demanding high priority, so there's really no reason to respond so critically and rudely. I would like to see A Rear Reborn and support the OP's request. Of course that's just my personal preference.

I did present a personal reason. The OP would be forcing his own personal tastes upon others without considering them.

The OP is requesting a change be forced on others regardless of whether or not they want it and is trying to present the case as if there is a popular mandate for it. He is doing so by deliberately misrepresenting numbers from beta threads that can't be linked back to.

He said the majority of the beta agreed with him, as much as he tries to back pedal on it, those were his words.

He said that the butt-slider topic got 900 likes when it was around 700. He used this as an example to show that people would support this particular idea. When he got called on the fact that SE responded that characters' backsides are working as intended he backpedalled again saying that this is completely unrelated to this request. Yet he is still citing that number in the OP in support of it.

At the end of the day, the OP doesn't like SE's design decisions. He would like to see his personal preference imposed on others across the board regardless of what they want and is trying to overstate the mandate for it by ignoring relevant information and changing figures.

I don't mind someone lobbying for a change they want, but the OP purposefully misrepresented the community to do it.

If you don't want to be called intellectually dishonest, do not deliberately distort facts.

Thanks for reading and responding. I may have been hasty in my accusation, and can see you have a sincere motive in your argument, so apologies for that judgement. However, why defend the opinion of those who prefer the 2.0 butt when no-body seems to be voicing that preference. The argument seems to be those who prefer the 1.0 butt vs those who don't care. I haven't actually seen anyone come out yet and say they really prefer the 2.0 over the 1.0 butt and would be upset to see the model changed.

I am curious to know, for those who oppose the OP's request - do you personally prefer the 1.0 butt, the 2.0 butt or don't mind at all?
