So many people angry about girls' butts, and yet no thread for the horrible arthritis male miqo'te are forced to live with.
It's really true that the hips are what keeps the world hooping.

i agree, your all nuts, if you dont like the looks, roll a hume. you 1.0 players (i should say 'us' 1.0 players) each got an ambrosia, use it. (i still like my mithra just fine.)It might just be me...but I don't see it. I played 1.0 and I honestly don't see any difference between the two. If there is a difference, its so minute its not really even worth mentioning. Claiming that its unfair to 1.0 players and that its so horrible you can't even enjoy the game because your character's posterior isn't as plump as you'd like, is overly-dramatic bluster. Personally, I found this thread to be just a tad ridiculous.
Wellllllll actually... we did have a thread about it... and it got smacked down by the Devs/Moderators and closed on nearly the same day if I remember correctly. Which has yet to happen to this thread.
I like my Miqo'te as well.
I've grown very attached to her throughout 1.0-2.0, which is why I won't ever use the ambrosia to change her race. That doesn't mean I wouldn't still like to seem some things changed back to how they originally were.
If I had the choice, I would use the ambrosia to change her voice back to what it was in 1.0, but we don't have that option, neither do we have the option to use the other female voice trees (I'd pick from the F Lalafel's if I could).

I find it hilarious they have acknowledged a "butt report" and still ignore 90% of the very important and game changing threads.
What Rekujen says. All these significant issues in the game that do not get commented on by the devs, and there are 51 pages including dev replies on the "BUTT" issue??
(rolls eyes)
"Men do not stop playing because they grow old. They grow old because they stop playing." - Oliver Wendell Holmes
The majority of the "issues" people have reported have been responded to... however, the response is almost always "We cannot fix the issue, as it does not appear to be on our end. Please contact your ISP/Bank yadda yadda yadda."
Which is pretty much the same as how the Devs responded here and boils down to: "We do not wish to put the time and money into fixing an issue that we cannot see as effecting the game at large."
Both those responses are fine by me really, so long as SE realizes that with each generic and unyielding response they give they further alienate players who will eventually leave, and move onto the next best thing.
Working out the math behind weapon damage output, and whatever other theories relevant to bettering yourself in the game, is engaging and moreover helpful to making you a more proficient player.Who said anything about "ghetto booty" Oo
I just want something that looks "normal" not anorexic.
Also, I believe everyone knows by now that "gamers" are a fickle breed. We don't do what you would call "getting a life." We instead do things like creating spreadsheets about how to most efficiently do damage, how to do something in the shortest time possible, and how to min/max everything in the game.
Hardly "normal" to anyone who plays games on the side, but if you enter the gamers' world, you better be prepared for our "normal" because here you're the strange one.
This thread, however does neither, and at the same time is pathetic.
All the bust slider shows is that the game engine is capable of expanding the mesh while adjusting the texture in a way it doesn't look stretched from outright resizing. Basically what Lowtech became famous for within the same model and through an in-game slider instead of applying a separate mesh.
Increasing butt size means that physics applied to skirts, loose straps and flaps would have to be recalculated (assuming XIV's game engine is anything like 3-D max or having something as primitive as MMD's bullet point engine), and depending on size would probably need more polygons to not look blocky when animated. You could make a case for skirt rigging already being questionable (Vanya sort of shows this), and adding a more notable round object in there would clip if you only increased butt size and adjusted nothing else. It's never a matter of just expanding the mesh and making the associated objects bigger; there's a little more involved (again, based on my experience as I don't know the intricacies of FFXIV's engine).
* The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.
* Design ideas:
Red Mage - COMPLETE (https://tinyurl.com/y6tsbnjh), Chemist - Second Pass (https://tinyurl.com/ssuog88), Thief - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/vdjpkoa), Rune Fencer - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/y3fomdp2)
To be technical, Cat Girls aren't normal to begin with.
Both of you probably should check other forum sections besides General Discussion, you'd be surprised just how much is acknowledged.
