I personally completely agree that Mithra-Miquo'te was never supposed to be shaped like it is in 2.0.
This shape is simply incorrect to the race.

Miquo'te is not in any way shape or form supposed to be shaped like a cat, it's supposed to be shaped like a woman.

I want my Miqou'te to be shaped the way the orrigonal producer saw the race, the way it was intended to be.
The way it was originally in both FFXI and FFXIV, I'm a fan of this race and seeing it in 2.0 the way it is now is just incorrect.

This is unfair to 1.0 players. I want an option to have the normal shape back for my character.

The back looks concaved, the lower body non existent.
This dose not look like a Human Shaped Woman's body like it did in 1.0.

Hm, glad i'm not alone in feeling this way too. My Miqo'te is lacking an ass, I had this same discussion with my bf a couple days ago, saying that she was missing some bumps back there. I mean, chicks are supposed to have a little something back there, my cat is as flat as a cardboard box and looks almost boyish from behind.

This thread makes me feel horribly inadequate in the booty department, because the current female Miqo'te model is about the same as my body in real life. :c

On a more serious note, this was one of the first things I noticed in the game after creating my character. I actually joked to my boyfriend about how my in-game character had no butt too. I guess I would prefer her to have more shape in the rear, but I don't really feel like it is game-breaking.

I never expected to see a topic about cat butts being so popular, I guess this shows what most fans care about.
Got to admit the topic is a fun read.
Maybe Japanese just like very skinny people.


I think the character models are a bit simplified in general though.
Got the perfect remedy for the butt problem though, wear a robe.
