So you can't play anymore because your characters body isn't to your liking.... O.K.
I guess it's an absolutely need for you to stare at your characters "naked" body for an extended period of time.

Really?
Compare the size of the heads, Compare the small part above the tail and what surrounds it.
How about another 2.0 side on picture. How can you possibly be ok with the 2.0 body.
The original was small enough as it was but it looked normal still, it didn't need to be non-existent.
There needs to be something there instead of nothing at all, it doesn't look normal otherwise.

I think devs will take a LONG LONG time to think about this...this reminds me when Blood Elves from WoW looked anorexic when BC came out, they "added" some more textures to made them look more normal because alot of players complained about the looks.
In my opinion and as other players said in this post, this is going to be the last thing that the devs are going to work with.
Perhaps, but it would be nice to hear them confirm that they will address the issue in time.
I can't say I've experienced this. Also, I can't even really tell the difference...
We have MUCH more serious problems right now. They need first let me people play that pay attention to silly complains like yours.
I played on my 1.0 character since the alpha test I played during the 1.0 beta phases, I played for the entire time the game was available the entire time playing on this exact character.
If anyone knows what my characters body shape was it's me and it's a huge difference in game, it's distracting from the game itself because the issue here is so noticeable.
In game it's almost unbearable at times, it's like having a constant itch you can't scratch or several fly’s in your room making annoying sounds and flying into your face.
I know that, I'm not stupid, I know we have major issues right now with the servers and everything. I'm not saying this needs to be done urgently just that I want it to be known and it would be nice to at least have it noticed and fixed.
Everyone wants to create a character they like and enjoy playing the game, I feel like my characters body has been altered in a way I have no control over and I'll always be annoyed about it unless it's fixed.

Op, all I can say is:
People complained about Animation lock and high details.
Small things like this can have a huge impact on the over all experience because it's the character your playing as and the entire experience of the game is played as a single character, the same character that you have to look at for hours on end.
Think of it like this, you don't want to watch a movie if it's an old tape that has lines threw it and fuzzes the whole way threw, same as you wouldn't want to play as a character with an abnormal looking body for hours on end.
Major issues should be addressed first before small things I agree, but I am getting tired of little issues being left behind.
Some of the small issues like this shouldn't have even came to be, I'm surprised that a company like Square Enix managed to botch the body's when they were made with so much care in 1.0.
The character models need some love even if it takes a bit of time to achieve it because right now The body shape just looks like it has been neglected entirely.

I have been staring at your example pictures for minutes now, and besides the last one where there is some space between the armour and her hips, I am just not seeing it. But maybe I am as blind as the dev team.
