I would want a butt slider for attractiveness, I don't care about supposed gameplay reasons. I just don't understand what is wrong about wanting that. Is it "perverted" for a guy to like the way girls look or something? o_O

People on the streets don't matter, because those people aren't playing the game, and wouldn't be playing it either way. What matters is if it's a feature a decent portion of the userbase wants or not. And considering the number of likes the OP has gotten, and the number of times I've seen elsewhere about people complaining that their Roegadyn or whatever else they are playing has a weirdly flat butt, I would say there are enough people that want it to warrant it.
Implementing it would have no affect on the people who are playing the game and don't care about butt size. So why are there people against the idea or criticising those that want it? I just don't get it.

What response or reaction do you think you'll normally get? Would you call them shortsighted or narrow minded because they react normally, as in "wtf? it's not that big of a deal" normal? No one is being shortsighted, how obsessed people are about it is what some people are "mocking".

It's pretty easy to trivialize things, as you just did. Most of the activities that occur online in FFXIV would result in "that's weird" or even "wtf" reactions from people walking on the street. Taking a topic like this one out of context is very immature, under the same assumption you could make people react like that with most MMO topics.

You are part of a small intolerant minority of our community who will criticize any topic they dont consider "normal", if you want to come to these forums and reflect your own insecurities go ahead, but at least do it while respecting the opinion of others. Making a thread about this issue is hardly being obsessed.

They're doing maintenance right now. I bet they're adding butts, I'm sure of it!

Actually ^^ your wrong I do realize my character is wearing a belt, just another thing that adds to the problem here.

I will also quote myself from a previous post.

I did always wish they added more Legacy options, I also suggested in the beta to add an option in the graphics settings to change the way belts appear on our characters.

Toggle on belt appears on gear 1.0 style (The Equipped Belt Is Displayed)
or
Toggle off and belt appears 2.0 style, (On random gear according to what gear your wearing)

I really miss being able to see the belts I actually have equipped.

The thing is visual differences like these can make not a complete game breaking experience but a less enjoyable experience.

I also agree that there should still be an option to turn gear physics off and on, the same kind of pro gear physics we had in 1.0. People with low end PC's should have an option to toggle these options off but I don't see why people with high end PC's should miss out if there PC's can handle it.

I know I know, someone is going to say PS3 limitations.....

Perhaps if they could do what I suggested with the belts it could help hide part of the problem here.

Like bust size, it would be nice if SE implement it for butts too for all races male and female. I remember I asked for it and got 200+ likes in the beta forum and SE didn't read it.

This game has a "sexual theme" for some reason.
