Ability to turn off Linkshell icons and our own names

Anyways, I play FFXIV mainly for the graphics. God knows there's little else to entice me to play. So, I hope you can appreciate my not wanting to look at a whole lot of crap on my screen, impinging on my ability to enjoy the game. And if you think newbies want to look at a lot of crap too, then by all means, continue to make blanket assumptions about players you've never met and a game you've never so much as played.

This is the reason I have little faith in this community. A bunch of people who hate the game, suggesting changes that will do little to nothing to actually improve the game, and flaming other users. No wonder Yoshi-P doesn't listen to us and we don't hear from him often enough. Hell, even JPN players are disgusted with most of you.

I just don't want to look at my own name and the glaring eyesores that are our linkshell icons. Just get this crap outta my face, ok.

Don't like it, toggle it all off. Stop being selfish. Not everything can be catered to your desires
