Ability to turn off Linkshell icons and our own names

If it bothers you that much turn it all off. Adding in these options are nearly pointless. So you only want to see half of a character's name? What good would that do?

In battle, I know who is who without having my screen cluttered by unnecessary information.

In town, I don't accidentally run past someone I know because i have /names off and didn't recognise them.

I play with /names off as much as possible because I hate the clutter it adds to my screen but I would really like to be able to tell who is who and what mobs are around me without having it clutter up my screen. Hence this whole thread.
