There is a solution to play with no lagwith a vpn from canada.
So, this prove that is a problem in their data center with players who came on a route to their server. But those who come on another route has no problem.
Good luck, i go to play now ... i can finaly play with not lag like few days ago![]()
Sadly it didn;t fix anything , the worst part in this issue is we , the players , most likely know more than SE themselves , because if they knew what we knew they could probably find a fix really quick but it's been 4 days now and not even a word about it and the proof they know nothing about it or how to fix it was that Network maintenance , it didn;t fix anything.
Actually, a server have multiple network devices (with different IPs) that's why you see different IPs on same server.
That means, they have a routing table, which route us from their router on different ways to the same server, maybe some devices are broken (or not working properly). They have to find out the problem, because they work there...
We are only guessing here, but i hope someone from their NOC read here and see some ideas... but i hope they dont think like this: "we have no problem here, you have problems with your ISP, deal with them"
I dont have a problem with them having lag for 3-4 days I work in IT and it can work, network latency is the worse kind of problem to resolve imo
The problem is the lack of communication If orumco(sp) actually works with SE and fix this then i'll be happy
I still wondering why i get rating:
NA/EU server: good (ping 130)
JP Server: Very good (ping 240)
in char selection ingame.
Just tried 2 VPN and still got lag and 90k because they route me to the .20 address ...
Not playable this morning even with VPN going to work ...
I connect my VPN to a site based in Kent (UK, quite close to my city) and I get no lag, there are definitely bottlenecks on certain IP's that connect to certain back-end servers. Again this wouldn't happen if they hosted servers in EU/NA locations instead of having them all transparently connected to Japan.

Had the same issue as everyone else since 2 SEP. VPN has made it playable...for now.
