Error 1017 makes this game trash

Look great game love the mechanics, but error 1017 makes the game itself trash. A game is only good if you can actually play it. I seriously hope we get reimbursed the days we have to sit forever pressing the login just to play. We paid for the first 30 days rather they say its free or not. It was part of the package and its owed to us. I do not feel I am getting what I paid for every single time I log in and get this dumb message. Give us more time or I won't even bother paying for next month and will demand a refund or do a charge back.

I have to agree on the frustration of seeing Error 1017 over and over again, My only question that could be brought up about it is why did they take out the queue from the game that was there during the beta testing to keep your from randomly having to try to enter the game over and over.......

Sadly until the newly added servers relieve the stress the only way is to put in a restriction to put people off, having thousands of people in a queue pinging the server for a "Can I get in yet" response would only make matters worse.

Error 1017 alleviates this issue slightly by putting people off spamming log-ins.

It's bad but by Tuesday/Wednesday this won't be an issue anymore.

You understand that 1017 is not an Error correct? Its the system telling you the message 1017 that the server is locked and not able to be connected to. This is SE's counter measure to folks spamming the servers and crashing them. Yes it sucks but its needed.

The fact that SE did not account for the population of the Entire world trying to log on screwed them over greatly ^^ they are working on a fix please be happy with that answer because there is no other answer to this.

Yoshi has made a post yesterday addressing this. I too am pretty frustrated by this and won't be paying a subscription unless it is fixed but yoshi has also stated they are looking to extend the free trial period for the inconveniences of this. Which I feel would be the best compensation they could offer us.

I don't mind the restrictions but it's annoying when it kicks active people.

I have been kicked in the middle of leves, instances, while others are afk in towns all day.

Really frustrating when you are in the queue at 4, then the next moment 1017.

This too, he stated that they'll extend our trial period... but how many days are they going to give us? I seriously we can get a free week for not being able to play in due to server congestion, I can't even get on during the peak times. This is ridiculous, if they don't give us a free week then I'll be piss and won't be paying jack for this game... hopefully they'll get this fixed this weekend or early next week.

But to be fair, I suppose (grudgingly) this is needed to protect the gaming experience of players who are already in the world. I am on a JP world and last night was the first time I ever faced 1017 since Early Access. This means we just have to wait and hope that the measures SE is taking really works!

Except it's not. I was doing a leve, got booted with an error 9000 (not an issue on my end, my connection was fine) and now have 1017. What if this happens during a raid? Ridiculous.
