Such a tease, rising hopes and then dashing it down like that.
But to be fair, I suppose (grudgingly) this is needed to protect the gaming experience of players who are already in the world. I am on a JP world and last night was the first time I ever faced 1017 since Early Access. This means we just have to wait and hope that the measures SE is taking really works!
Except it's not. I was doing a leve, got booted with an error 9000 (not an issue on my end, my connection was fine) and now have 1017. What if this happens during a raid? Ridiculous.
Yoshi has made a post yesterday addressing this. I too am pretty frustrated by this and won't be paying a subscription unless it is fixed but yoshi has also stated they are looking to extend the free trial period for the inconveniences of this. Which I feel would be the best compensation they could offer us.
I don't mind the restrictions but it's annoying when it kicks active people.
I have been kicked in the middle of leves, instances, while others are afk in towns all day.
This too, he stated that they'll extend our trial period... but how many days are they going to give us? I seriously we can get a free week for not being able to play in due to server congestion, I can't even get on during the peak times. This is ridiculous, if they don't give us a free week then I'll be piss and won't be paying jack for this game... hopefully they'll get this fixed this weekend or early next week.
They basically have the engine of a Pinto in the body of a Lamborghini.
Its embarrassing really.
It needs to be fixed. Not tomorrow, not next week. NOW.
Regardless of why it's happening, they need to extend the "free time"
for play without subscription. As a former 1.0 player I have only until
the 9th before I must subscribe to play and it seems the majority of
my free time is going to waiting to play.
ALL DAY today, my only day off this week I've been locked out due
to 1017, Every NA server is locked. I have multiple characters on
multiple servers, no luck w/ any ALL DAY!
We must demand extension of the non subscription play time.
As much as I agree with what you're saying, something of this magnitude can't be fixed "Now" or in 3 days. When something "Unplanned" occurs, they have to make adjustments/plan of action/put said plan into motion/make sure everything that is being implemented into the server structure is in top notch shape ( Internal testing) <----- They are at this point now.
By early next week ( like they said) it will be implemented, and HOPEFULLY everything will be fixed and all this server biz will be something of the past.
Give them at least till early next week ( implementation day), shouting at them to do it faster isn't going to being implementation day any closer.
They already said they are planning to extended the play time period, as to how long they didn't say, I would imagine 1-2 weeks. 3 days Early access lost + the inconvenience of the customer having to try to get in the game all day ( on their day(s) off) etc etc.We must demand extension of the non subscription play time.

It was obvious that the NA/EU servers weren't stable in OB. There is no excuse for this lack of foresight. 1017 should not still be this much of an issue. As much as I agree with what you're saying, something of this magnitude can't be fixed "Now" or in 3 days. They need to do something. Now.
