What do you do when the healer decides to pull the boss, before saying hello or asking if everybody knows the fight????
I feel bad for the other 2 dps i left in there though...

This game is amazing but the community makes the game bad. It's like a bunch of little kids that come over from a FPS,seriously.
God, I find archers the worst. I don't know what it is but so many of them feel the need to pull for you. Lancers seem to really suck at assisting too, second on my list. Don't know what it is about those classes but they seem to bring the derp out of people.
In later levels the DPS will learn their lesson when mobs actually start hitting like trucks. With how easy low level dungeons are you can just make a mini-game and see how well you can control threat vs idiots.
Unfortunately that is the breed of gamers playing all these MMO's these days. All you can do is ignore it and continue playing or stop playing mmos all together because no matter what MMO you play, your going to experience jackasses. Its sad, really sad but its a reality.
I say let them die..... that's the only way they learn it.
Although if its a healer, it's a little problematic, as you might end up dying also
Anyway, if they rage quit, you will always find a new(and probably better) team asap, after all.... you do play a tank class = instant dungeons![]()
In some cases thats all you can really do, "let them die". It would be nice if everyone would just hang back to let us tanks do our job, but I can also understand if its a new dungen, you don't know where to go but everyone else does. Lets just hope we all find a good balance soon.I say let them die..... that's the only way they learn it.

you know...i keep reading these threads about people raging at tanks, and i'm sitting here thinking, "did we get all the mmo rejects and console kiddies or what?"
ANY mmo player, that's not 100% retarded knows this one simple dynamic;
TANK=sets the maximum speed, HEALER=sets the minimum speed, DPS=kill anything aggro'd only, unless told otherwise.
it's simple, it's easy, one guy in front, one guy in back, and 2 dudes punching eachother in the shoulders in the middle giggling like school girls.
i'm starting to think we need to put up posters or something somewhere, seems people have forgotten this.
The breakdown on how parties should go.
Engaging mobs.
Tank does aoe and focuses on one target.
DPS work on that target.
If mobs disengage and go for healer. DPS with stuns disengage and chase to stun until tank picks back up.
Go back to mob tank was previously focusing.
1) Do NOT pull in front of the tank.
2) Don't stand in nono circles.
How hard is these simple steps to understand? I mean jeez people.
When all is lost,
All is in vain.
When Good and Evil,
Unite in pain.
Rivers of swords must join as one,
Only then shall the spell be undone.
I think most people understand the gist of group mechanics and what not to do, however, A.D.D/ADHD comes into play and most ppl nowadays from the WoW "era" have all been transformed into the "go go go" mentality where they play a dps class but yet, want to move at an insane pace so they begin to pull, then get pissed at the tank for not picking crap up off of them. I mean, 9/10 times when I tank in any game, theres consistantly, I repeat, CONSISTANTLY dps players saying "go" or "hurry up" when in reality, I pull much quicker then most tanks do because I do enjoy a quick pace, however, that doesnt mean go an pull ahead of me. Players in these games nowdays no longer have patience. They want everything done quickly, and easily and handed stuff on a silver platter else they cry foul. Gear, people cry when gear is tough to obtain. Unfortunately I have to agree with the Black Eyed Peas and one of their songs. These generation of gamers are the "Now Generation". Its sad, truly sad.
What I see a lot as a healer myself is the tank tends to chase after the mob which in turn lowers his enemity with the other mobs and the one he was focusing on. Personally I feel all melee should stay with the tank and the tank should stay put. Healers have a spell to knock back mobs and bind them I always aim them at the tanks location and it works just fine that away. When its multiple mobs I run to the tanks position.
Another major problem I see is that in large battlefields a lot of people who get aggro run away from the mobs instead of bringing it to the tank and staying in healing range. This is a huge no no. Trust your tanks and healers and stay still or bring the mobs to the tank and you'll be fine unless they suck.
