This login issue with error 1017

How long is it going to be til we should expect a fix? I don't understand why the issues with even being placed In the queue if the world is full has not yet been resolved. Furthermore, there are not many things that would make me not want to subscribe to this game. I love this game. But not being able to access what I pay for is kind of a deal breaker for me square enix.

With that being said, I do not intend to pay another cent for this game until I can at least access it when it is playable.. and I know I'm not alone on this.

They are expanding server next week. I know this problem is very frustrating but hang in there. We are all in this together

I've lost interest in logging in for the time being, hopefully it gets fixed soon. If not, i'll simply move on.

No most of my play was from 1.0 I didn't play a lot because of real life stuff and I didn't play from launch. You can leave your criticism of me at the door please.

A tad frustrated here too, but.. hang on, a week.. I waited two years.. I guess I can wait another week. I will not hide I am highly frustrated, my usual playtime coincide with peek hours, which well.. is usually the reason one pick a server in a timezone , to be on when a lot of people is on.

I think if I mash a bit more the keypad 0 key it will explode, not that I am giving up mind, is an hour I am trying to get in, and probably will not be able to, but how they say.. stubbornness...

But don't give up hope, they fixed a lot in this game, they can fix this too, then, when I am old with nephews, i'll tell them how I was a 1017 survivor, and they will look at me proudly, for such bravery in the face of adversity.

Or probably not but who cares?!? Is my fantasy!

Lol ya I'm definitely not giving up. Like I said I love this game. Just not enough to pay a subscription for a game I can't play. Worst case scenario (if they start charging before the issue is resolved) i deactivate until they fix this login problem and then reactivate.

I'm cool with it... I'm playing Tokobots on my PSP (everyone should play Tokobots) so whenever I encounter the 1017 I just look at it and go
"You know... life really isn't that bad. I'm not starving and I don't suffer from any painful or degenerative diseases. Plus, I got Tokobots on my PSP. This shit is like Frustration Kryptonite. So hey, everything is gonna be okay."


FFXIV...is like a child. A poor little orphaned child. A poor little orphan child... who needs a liver transplant. Would you stop loving an orphan child if it needed a new liver? I know I would, but that's just because I'm a terrible person. Thankfully there are many people out there not like me who would stick by that child to the very end.

I will, heroically, stick by FFXIV until it is all better as penance for how I don't care about sick kids. I implore you all to join me in doing the same.
