Amazon.com Canceled my Pre-Order!!!!

So apparently pre-orders from Amazon.com were CANCELED even if they were made by Augusta 23rd.

Yea, I even leveled up in pre-release with my pre-order code that Amazon.com sent me, but then canceled my order sometime today/yesterday when SE told them to stop selling keys to lessen the burdon on their servers.


Seriously guys?! I PRE-ORDERED, that means I shouldn't be lumped in with post-release sales!!!

SE needs to tell Amazon.com to stop their crap !

I can't even log in now because I can't get my retail key from Amazon!!!

Same exact problem.

Amazon just decided to cancel my pre-order as well due to overselling it and not realizing Square-Enix was an awful company that has no idea how to manage anything despite this being their second release of the same exact game.

Don't get upset though, just put the 30 dollars and the eventual subscription fee towards a game with a more professional company.

I definitely did, pre-ordered Rome 2 with the money I never spent.

Yes, stopping all NEW digital sales, not pre-orders. Pre-orders shouldn't count. I contacted Amazon.com, and they told me nothing they could do. I went with a 3rd-party source that had already bought a ton of digital keys . Playing again !

Next time Amazon.com and SE should really be on the same page. 3-day weekend, 4 if you include half of today, and no FF14? I think not sir....

That's fine, but we pre-ordered the game from Amazon before the early access even began, days before they said they were stopping digital sales.

We played our characters through the early access pre-order bonus and when the game was released we never received our CDKey which we put out money up towards. They literally took the liberty of stopping our payment, wasting days of time and then forcing us to either go out and buy a physical copy, order a physical copy and wait for it to ship to our homes or not play the game.

I chose not to play the game because what they did was extremely unprofessional.

Here's my story, my Amazon order has not been canceled but my SE account doesn't have FFXIV ARR attached to it anymore! SOooo.... My money was taken, my order is still shipping to me, my early access was taken from me, and now my game is gone too. This is ridiculous. I've never EVER had this much trouble with a game before.
