It's the Magitek Armor, and you get it from clearing the main storyline.

Indeed. That's magitek armour from Final Fantasy VI (originally released in 1994) - when SE first showed images of it in ARR most FF fans squeed with delight (incidentally in ARR it's called an 'Imperial Reaper'.)

For those lucky enough to have it already, is the backing music when riding it that remix of FFVI's Terra's Theme that was shown in that short trailer earlier in the year?
