    No support assistance with codes problem

    I pre-ordered the collector's edition digital download from the square-enix store. I received beta 4 codes and was able to play that. However when early access codes went out I did not receive proper codes, I was given the beta codes again and they did not work. After 2 days of trying to get through to support and numerous tickets I purchased a collector's edition pre-order from Amazon on the 26th. The amazon codes allowed me to play and gave me pre-order items but not collector's edition items. I opened more tickets with support. All of my tickets were closed due to the 48 hour shut down except for one. One ticket was closed after "live support" resolved the issues. The problem is I have not EVER spoken to anyone either via chat or phone and have only received the 48 hour closure emails aside from that one. I have no idea what to do now as I only get a busy signal from phone line and can't get an option for live chat. This is extraordinarily frustrating and if anyone knows how to help me resolve it please tell me! Thanks

    When did you purchase your collectors edition from Amazon? It seems that people are noticing their copies of the game (physical) are being returned without the consumers consent. I believe Square Enix is temporarily putting the items on hold until the congestion is resolved.

    I would recommend directly talking to Amazon to see the status of your order first.

    There are many people in your situation. All we can do is be patient and pray SE has the foresight to provide hefty compensation for all our wasted time and grief.

    SE skimps on Customer Service and makes their customers feel the shortfall.

    English translation-We understand there are serious problems. We are glad you have already paid your money and that you are committed to playing our game. It is our sincere hope that you will overlook all these issues and continue to pay us once the situation is resolved.

    They understand the player base will diminish substantially after the first couple months based on launches of other games. They hope the true, dedicated people who will stay with the game are the type of loyal players that will suffer through the short falls of the system and staffing. Never confuse profit with revenue.

    I bought ARR from Amazon back in December 2012. I got an email yesterday saying it had shipped. Terrific. But this morning when I came on to log into game and TRYYYY to get into Midgard i was prompted to sign up using the box's code. Uh oh. Don't have the physical game yet, so tried to enter my other 20-digit code (deleted in the below screenshot), so I do believe I have to just wait until that comes.

    I'm not sure when my free 30 days started, or ended, or will start or what. I guess my lawn will get mowed after all this Labor Day weekend! HA



    Edit: Not December, ordered on HALLOWEEN. (I knew that day was special, but i couldn't remember why...)

    To clarify I ordered my first pre-order collector's edition from Square Enix digital download store. When Square did not send me correct codes for early access I bought a pre-order digital download off of Amazon on the 26th (also a collector's edition).

    The Amazon codes let me play and gave me the pre-order items but not the collector's edition items. Square Enix never sent me working codes to play the game at all.

    I opened tickets but they were all closed out after 48 hours with no resolution, with the exception of one where it was closed saying live service had resolved the issue. I found that hysterical since I never spoke to or had a live-chat with ANYONE from Square, and in fact have been trying to contact them numerous times a day for help.

    I understand that they are overloaded at the moment but I need assistance and can't seem to get any. I was more hoping for a different number than 858-790-7529 or a response with an e-mail contact telling me how to fix the situation, or alternatively obtain a live chat about the issue since that feature is currently unavailable to me.

    Nothing new to say other than I am in the same boat and don't know what to do. The game underwent some great changes, too bad customer service took a step back.
