    Hide chatlog during cutscenes.

Seriously, NPC dialogue already has its own little window. I don't need to see the dialogue in duplicate in my chatlog. That's just a waste of screen space, and detracts from the immersion of the game.

Also, an option to stop NPC dialogue from appearing in the chatlog at all would be great, too.

That would be good, so we can use fraps to take screenies.

Agreed! It's pretty bothersome with all the text clutter during a cut scene. Not to mention the words cannot be moved, so you're often left with overlapping text.

There's been a case where I accidentally skipped some dialogue and the chat log helped me read it. I'm a new player so I'm not sure if there is another way to backtrack. Aside from my point, I can see why you would want the chat log hidden.

What if the chat log's transparency is changed when the cursor hovers over it? It could start low around 10% and then fade into 100%.

I have my UI set up like FFXI so when i'm talking to a NPC my chat box and NPC box are together so it's a plan they don't even allow you to move it -.-

Agreed, although on quite a few occasions I have double clicked the mouse or controller button and missed some of the text, had to scroll back in the chat log to read what I missed.

So if they were to do this they would need to add a scroll button or back button to the NPC text box.

Na all they have to do is Add a back bottom with numbers showing how much text the NPC said

2/10 you press back and so on to read what you miss.
