    account banned!

    I preordered FFXIV in Amazon, while ago. Unfortunately there is some problem with my payment method at amazon, so they took back the game, and my SE account cannot run this game any more.
    Now I am planning to buy this game again. I just want to know if all my data will be back if I change the registration key in this SE account?? and what will happen if I buy CE this time? my original game is Standard Edition.

    I already lvl34... I dont want to replay everything....

    As far as i know, as long as you have an SE account and you have access to it, you don't need to enter another key onto your account to play your game.

    Just install the game via the new DvD, update the game, and that's that i reckon.

    Did you enter your product code? Many people just entered the pre-order code about a week ago, but that pre-order period has expired. You will need to enter the product registration code to continue playing on your account. This code should have come in the box or been delivered in an email for digital purchases.

    When you register, please do not choose "create a new service account". Your characters are on your existing service account, so you should choose another option. (It may be "add a platform", as confusing as that sounds.)
