My game is taking 6+ hours to download this new patch. Anyway to speed it up?

Open your ports without opening ports took me 1hour to get 20% i open my ports and took me 15-20min to get 22-100% look up in google how to open ffxiv ports or look at one of my post.

i know theres a 30 day free trail, thats pretty polite. If I intend to spend money monthly on this game then I would at least expect the updates to not take all day though. It has been over six hours and I'm only at 59% on my update! I appriciate the fun facts about opening ports, but this is rediculious. I know free games online that update faster then this(battelfield hereos for example). So yeah. I love final fantasy, but I just wanted to wave a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE RED FLAG since I've wasted my entire day off looking forward to playing this game.

Ok I did this, opened the cmd, but I don't know my modem. So I don't know what I am looking for on the portfoward.com. Seriously 3 hours and I am only at 30%.

I wanted to quit World of Warcraft for this game, and seriously I have only had this for a few days and I have dealt with nothing but issues and problems that completely irritated me. I mean, the patch download thing is sooooo horrible, im at 20% since 6pm pst. it is now 8:50 almost 9pm pst.

In complete honesty, I as well as many many others could have came up with such a BETTER final fantasy mmo. Just and FYI Square-Enix, Graphics are not everything, the game is not fun when the battle system sucks but it looks "good.

fix your game, redo the whole thing, make it playable and user friendly.

really guys open you dam ports google the dam thing if you have too look at your modem do it should tell you the name -.- even in the cmd box it should tell you the name of your modem it took me less then 10mins to download the update o.o by just opening the ports.

My ports are open. On a 6mb down connection. I left to take my GF to the ER when it was at 28.8%. I have since been to the ER, crossed town twice in search of a 24/hr pharmacy, and just now got home. Its still only at 84.4% done. This is a fail.

Without opening ports too me hours soon i open it i download it in 15-20mins if its not working for you guess then there other issue.
