A bit concerning... Not a troll thread

Not really worried persay about this, but just seems very... (for lack of a better word) different that people on the new servers have already started up their relic weapon quests.

Please note I'm not saying the game is too easy, or that the devs are doing something wrong.
But just seems that getting to the relic weapon quest technically 3 days after launch is a bit underwhelming.

Ah well, game is still fun and I'm loving it, but there are just some things I miss from 1.0

It is pretty much par for the course for NA users. Cry and complain a game is too difficult in beta so they dumb it all down and then they complete all the content in 3 days post launch so that they can cry an complain that there is nothing to do. It's like the Ground Hog Day of the MMO world.

These are the people in hardcore endgame FCs who booked the whole week off work and haven't logged out save for maintenance since EA started. Who also capped all 20s over beta 4. They're a minority. I've been playing a fair bit and had both beta4 and EA and have my first class at 33.

I'll never understand why people do that, but to each their own!

Had two Magitek riders hanging out in Camp Horizon for some reason. I have to admit, I was annoyed because I felt like they'd spoiled it for me. Same with all the Scholars, Summoners and Black Mages running around in AF armor.

So glad I'm taking my time... I don't see the joy in rushing to end game. That's just me, though. To each his own.

This happens with all of these games. You will always have people sprinting for the end just to claim being the first there and such. These people typically have no life or took time off work/school because they... have no life. Whats worse is that they go to low level areas and just stand there in AF gear and such, as if they are showing off but I always feel the joke is on them >.>

Not a big deal though. I want to hit 50 as much as the next person. I admit I was a little bit disappointed in seeing the Magitek so soon and have it spoiled, but that's how it goes.

Taking my time here, just hit 40 this morning. Loving the story, questing, instances are tough enough for me to enjoy on my first run through; but well designed enough that my next few runs go somewhat smooth. xD

I'm taking my time, I'll get there in a month or so.

But, OP, what you're saying is just cause a bunch of people like to rush and are doing endgame stuff within a week, I should have to be forced to go through an extremely long grind to get there myself? Just cause people rush doesn't mean the game needs to be adjusted for them. All it does is hurt the majority who take their time. If people are doing their relic quests already, you should just chill. Play the game how you want and don't get so overly concerned with how others are playing.

Some people just have more free time than others, some people from 1.0 were still doing the relic reborn quest before the server shutdown.



I remember the days when everyone in Ul'dah woud show off their shiny new Primal weapon in active stand and afk for hours.
