    Not necessarily. I prefer to SP grind over Levequest, so I joined an Eft party @ Treespeak with some LS-mates last night. Tore through them wicked fast with BR usage. Built TP and used a WS BR chain. It took Efts from 60-80% HP to death in one chain. Granted, we had 6+ WS, but with the entire party participating, it was fun and effective.

    Ranks ranged from 32-39.

    Great overview Ryden. I learned a few things and thought your ideas were really good. I'll be trying to do some more Regimens now that I see how easy they are to do on the keyboard. Thanks for the post!

    I Personally love the regiment system as well. I only really have two gripes about it. Being stuck standing around like a goofus after stacking into one until its activated. The lack of any special effect animation when a debuff has been placed on the target mob is my other gripe.

    Thing about it is, the system is really flexible. I have seen stone throw and a ws cause effects. But I do agree that while its a easy system to get into and it takes some trial and error to master, the game could do a wee bit better job explaining it. you know like saying any thing about it.

    I dont like it , not because of the current state of the battle system but because i prefer a system like weapon skills , saying that though i will support whichever direction this issue ends up going in.

    I completely agree with you Shiyo. I think that may be a first. lol.

    I really think the only reason BR might be on the chopping block is because of the confusion that results from trying to use it the first time. I really hope the devs notice that it is only confusing because it's not ever explained - not because it's a confusing system.

    I've played this game since the first alpha and when I read about BR I was excited by the concept.

    After trying it out in the early days it was pretty much useless due to non execution or command input issues.

    I'm happy to say that much of these problems have been fixed and I now find BRs are both fun to use and useful. All I can add is that having used the FFXI skillchain system I find it a little boring to watch.

    Make BRs kick ass visually and most of the haters will stfu.

    Another problem with BR is we need a graphical diagram on the ground to explain to people where to stand so they're within the right range. That's something that never got implemented from concept.
