Can't Download: Error [11006] [20641] [20643]

My friend has been trying to download the game on PC like 30 times now but the download keeps on getting stuck around 25% with Error: [11006] [20641] [20643] she has tried everything that we can think of, so I have decided to create a post about it, other people must of surely encountered this problem and must know the fix?

Btw she is a 1.0 player who hasn't played any of the Beta Phases or Early Access she reactivated her account to participate in the "Welcome Back Campaign" and downloaded the client from there.

Any suggestions will be appreciated thanks in advance!

Use the forum search for other threads about these error codes. Various threads have various suggestions about what you can do to try to fix it.

bump

on ps3, this error is still commonplace. all of the threads you say to search for do not offer a fix for the PS3. There are no patch files to delete, forwarding ports does not impact the issue, etc.

It happens roughly 1400MB downlaoded into the 2496.38MB patch (Downloading ffxiv - 2013.08.10.0000.0000), once it stops the downloads and tries to update.

when the error appears, it shows beta version. This happens with all games and saves for FFXIV removed and fresh installs of the physical BD media and the downloaded media from PSN.

Something is very broken with SE's patching, as there exact symptoms have been in effect since beta p4, early access, and now release.

There is NO FIX client side.

This error is the PC version btw
