Launcher is requiring I register.. even though I already registered for early access

This morning my launcher is requiring I enter a new registration code.. in spite of the fact I already did this for early access. It acknowledged my SE account is set up, and when i enter my registration code, it says it's already in use.

This is incredibly frustrating, as I took today off specifically to play the game. I'm hoping someone can offer some constructive help to resolve this issue.

I've tried re-installing FFXIV as well, and that did not resolve the issue.

Preorder bonus code gave you early access, but it's not the game code that is required.
Early access was to let you play until you receive the game code.

If you bought physical box, you'll need the code from the box.
If you bought digital, check your mails, or check the retailer you ordered from.

Be careful when you put your registration code in the psn. I accidentally created a new service account which made my service account with my characters inactive. Now i cannot play with my characters. I have tried contacting customer support, but it has been several hours with no reply. many players are having this same problem.

I entered the early access, and the code that I got from Digital River (Preordered from the FFXIV website). I was fine until this morning. Now when I enter my registration code, it says it's already in use.. which makes sense since I entered it earlier this week.

you need to enter your full game code, NOT the preorder code. the preorder grace period has run out

I had the same thing, went to www.findmyorder.com to see my order and entered the Serial Number there and it worked.

I think I know the issue.. a friend of mine tried to log in this morning, but he wasn't set up. I just logged into the account management online, and my account is good to go, but the launcher is stuck on account creation since he tried to log in. is there a way to reset the launcher? I reinstalled this morning nad the launcher is still asking for account creation, so that isn't the fix.

I submitted a ticket, but am not confident I'll get help before next Monday, from the responses I see from others on the forums, on their issues.
