Request for a HARDCORE server!

The best Joke Ive ever heard in this Forum.
Most of the things here posted are just "Hardcores" who want the timesinks, not because they want a good game its most likely because they want to satisfy themeselves with the title of being "Hardcore".
Best example is the cry for a Hardcore Server.

I want to enjoy this game, everyone has the right to.
But if they decide to take another route, you cant blame the casuals because they have fun and you not.

I hope they add a Hardcore Server, or at least give it a shot.
Since other MMO have PVP Servers, why not a Hardcore Server.
If they can satisfy themselves and leave everyone alone who enjoy the Game its just the best for "both".

There no need for two dam servers just make it hard and at least 30+mins to do a dungeons even wow take 3-6hours to do a raid some low level dungeons take at least 30+min and this is game sold as casuals

anyways if they don't even add TV ads or post ads everywhere for the ps3 version for this game in NA it's going to fail anyways it would have the same or little more amount of players then FFXI did because no one know what the hell is ffxi even ff fans don't know about ffxi and ffxiv.

and it's not even a joke casual don't want to meet a middle ground just by saying what you did is proving my point. i by all means can care less if this is a casual game or middle or hardcore as long as it not boring how it is atm even the NM are not that fun there just like other mobs with more hp. I can care less about title i use 8+hours in ffxi talking to friends and helping others i use the title because that best way to show what am saying.

Anyways is not about casual or hardcore it's about how much fun it is.

top of that yoshi said he doing something for both so at the end why are ppl making this pointless topics when yoshi said this on a interview... all am trying to do is make causal and hardcore players understand. we need both casual type and some hardcore stuff so when we have more time to play there that type of event there for us,

If you want to play "hardcore" just play another game. I'm a pretty heavy MMO player but I still don't feel that the small number of people who play the most should be dictating everything. Plus:
How does stiffer death penalties make the game more fun? Why don't we take it a step further and make you lose half your money when you die like oldschool RPGs?

I don't really want to see any kind of different types of servers. it makes getting started unnecessarily confusing and complicated. What if some noobie doesn't really realize what "hardcore" means and makes a character on this server, which is home to all the game's worst elitists? he will be oppressed into oblivion, that's what.

Yes agreed, maybe I misunderstood some of your points.

@Mitsuhide i don't want a big time sink just something CHALLENGE that what you think of when you think of FF. I don't want to waste my time for hours doing something i just want to waste 1hour doing one event with CHALLENGE and a good reward at the end. Am not a casual player or a hardcore player i don't play hours and hours just to get best gear so for that am not hardcore but i don't play only 3 hours a day so am not casual so am in the middle here give us something fun and hard to do that causal can do then i enjoy it.

I want content that is fun to particpate in, can require large groups of players to enjoy, and everyone benefits from participating not just a LS leader, or a specific member of the party. It should be difficult and require tactics.

Difficulty through Time spent isn't Difficulty or a challenge.

Some of the best fun I had in XI were Beast Seal fights. Great Challenge, Hard Fights, Requires lots of tactics, And everyone can benefit from a few hours of running them.

Yoshi Already stated dungeon style raids with a SE twist will be coming.


Waiting around 12 hours for one fight for a single drop for a single person. Thats not fun, and it isn't hardcore, its insane.
