Request for a HARDCORE server!

Not sure which thread bothers me more, this one or the 56 page thread in the Japanese section about people who want a separate server away from you guys.

NA players, but does it really matter? We're all on the same server together as it should be, at least that's what I think.

Actually in that thread the vast majority of the posters is quite clearly against separate servers (which is quite surprising, in a pleasant way).

SE will begin to see the flow of their player base attending this hard core server. Possibly a majorit and possibly many others who have quit come back.

Lol. If you expect any more than a completely overwhelmed minority to be even slightly interested in such a server option, I'm afraid that there's a big delusion at play here.

Back to TERA again, TERA has also a pvp / pve server both with different content to suit their players needs. Why cant we have a hardcore/casual?

Because the TERA devs aren't hard pressed to squeeze every little bit of content and evolution they can from every little bit of development resources/time. The FFXIV devs are.

And because PvP and PvE both have a *Large* fanbase in the MMORPG market, making the options worthwile. Timesinks don't have that kind of fanbase. Ergo adding a "timesink server" isn't simply worth the development resources ad time it'd cost, slowing down the whole development process of the game.

Casual bassicaly would be a private server where everything is handed to you.

Hard core would be the classic FF11/Standard MMO expectations with the risk/reward

Those ideas of hardcore/casual are quite funny, not to mention completely detached from reality.

While that is true, I still stand by my point that there is no need for such threads (including this one).

yeah but over all jp talking about language barres which at least understandable but this thread is about making a easy server and hard server which they would have go back re work everything so meaning it would never happen and nmo people have to be totally detach from reality to think it would

I Do not see any point at all to this at all there not need. If you want this game to be just like ffxi then why do you not just go play ffxi because that exactly what you want. If they end up making this game as hardcore as ffxi i would never come back and play because i already have that game playing it and enjoy it i do not need another one.

I want FFXIV to become a hardcore game too, but instead opening dumb Threads with the same requests, opinions, etc.. I prefer to be patient and see how this "wrong released" game, becomes one of the best Hardcore MMO of the world.

nvm i found it, jp are mix on subject and it seems more that they just want everyone speak same language on the servers there few trolls just like there is here but over all there mix on subject an it just over mainly language barres of all languages not just English.

Well apparently to some people around here, making an easy server and a hard server is understandable, just as you believe talking about language barriers is understandable.
