Friendly PVP

I think at some point in time we need to have some friendly PVP action.

Before you misunderstand what i mean by friendly PVP, i dont mean player versus player in combat. I mean general competetive activities/minigames with other players.

PVP in my opinion, is a staple part of any Online game.

You play online games with other people, it's natural there be a little competition between them. Some games (majority) settle this through allowing players to bash other players heads in to determine a simple "im better than you" system.

But give other possibilities a think, there's always obvious ways to get players competing in game like adding minigames such as chocobo racing, TripleTriad/tetramaster, etc etc.

What i want to hear are your ideas, not just comment on the examples i've given, but be creative and make up our own friendly PVP ideas. just for the sake of having something constructive and productive to say on these forums.

There was something similar in 11 where you entered an instanced type of area to PVP. I don't see anythign wrong with this. I would hate for the entire game to be PVP, but that will never happen so no worries there.

ff11 pvp was terrible. it was call balista or something .
