As posted elsewhere before, we are investigating issues that might be caused by ISPs classifying FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn as P2P software.
To give us a clearer view on how widespread this issue is, it would be much appreciated if everyone who experienced such issues could post the following information as a reply to this thread:
- Name of ISP
- Country of Residence
- When does the problem occur (always, only during specific times?)
- Reference number from your ISP, if you raised this matter with them

ISP - COMCAST/XFINITY

Problem occurs - Since launch - always. I beta tested and had no problems, now, I can't log into any of my NA America or JP server characters. The JP Server is error 1017, the NA servers, simply are not showing up in the list.
I have not raised issue yet with Comcast, will check forums before doing so.
FIX THIS!!!!!!!!!!! I have limited time to play due to R/L but when I do play, I want to be able to log in and play with no issues.
I am not sure if this is a sign of throttling. But I've noticed that players and npcs take about 5-10 seconds to load on my screen.

Having logged in during the week everything works as expected up until 7pm on the dot. Currently using a VPN to get around the problem but its not ideal

P.S. I've tried the port forwarding and still get all the connection issues - 1017, 10102 and Server list not appearing.
Hi
We are running hard-wire PC version, and PS3 on wi-fi. All fine until yesterday. Now major lag, unplayable on the PC

Time - was peak times yesterday, but issue now is all day today (Sunday)
