ISP - Verizon Fios
Location - United States (New York City)
Occurs on and off normally, but is near unplayable during prime time from 6PM to Midnight (Eastern Time) everyday with lag spikes of over 10 seconds delays.
I noticed a majority of us with the Lag Issues in the USA is using Verizon Fios...

Tanking is a job, DPSing is a science and Healing is an art.
If the Tank dies, it's the Healer's fault. If the Healer dies, it's the Tank's fault. If the DPS dies, it's their own damn fault.
- Name of ISP: Verizon Fios 150/150
- Country of Residence: United States - East Coast
- When does the problem occur (always, only during specific times?): Occurs every day from 6PM EST-12AM EST. It's playable between 6PM-8PM EST and 11PM-12AM EST but unplayable between 8PM EST-11PM EST. I receive huge lag spikes, sometimes as long as 30 seconds. This makes dungeon healing and dodging impossible. This issue started with HW, specifically after the instanced areas were removed.
- Reference number from your ISP, if you raised this matter with them: I did not contact them because everything other than FFXIV works perfectly.

The lag Spikes usually--if not always--happen around the hours of 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM PST. The lag causes everything in the game to stop moving except for my character. Often when the lag occurs, few skills will go through and then everything will happen instantly--like watching the fighting fast-forwarded. I contacted my ISP about this but all they did was refresh my router settings. Everything outside of FFXIV works fine.

- When does the problem occur (always, only during specific times?): Problem has been occurring around 6pm EST, and lasts until around 11pm EST. Rubberband lag and occasional disconnects plague me in this timeframe. Issue has been relevant for over 5 months now.
- Reference number from your ISP, if you raised this matter with them: No reference # was given, just an explanation by them that they "cannot change the route", and that there is nothing they can do about it since "it is on Square-Enix's end".

Time of occurrence: Evening primetime usually starts by 7pm eastern and lasts well into the night/early morning hours - whether during group play, solo play, in or out of dungeons there will be periods 2-3 seconds of completely stopped gameplay and then everything catches up again - no other parts of my internet service is affected during this time, interestingly even actual P2P isn't affected, I can download files on bittorrent at full speed (did a test on Ubuntu's torrent and pulled it down at 5MB/s) while FFXIV lagged hard
Reference number: Have not yet contacted ISP, was seeing if this was an issue on Square Enix's end especially since this seemed like it got worse after the 3.0 patch
Hangs are happening between hops 9 and 16. This is an occurring issue for a handful of members for my FC. Australia, Singapore, Philippine, Indonesia, and Korea users. While not all, but the same issue is happening to over a dozen users. Can't be coincidence.
