Request for information: ISPs and P2P throttling

Hi all,

As posted elsewhere before, we are investigating issues that might be caused by ISPs classifying FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn as P2P software.

To give us a clearer view on how widespread this issue is, it would be much appreciated if everyone who experienced such issues could post the following information as a reply to this thread:

- Name of ISP
- Country of Residence
- When does the problem occur (always, only during specific times?)
- Reference number from your ISP, if you raised this matter with them

- didnt need a reference as the ISP throttling is made up excuse since i can run torrenting programs all day with not the horrible lag that i recieve during prime time while turning off the torrenting programs

Lag has made the game unplayable for me for almost two months now And agree with above, it really really does not look like throttling as I do not currently nor have I ever had issues with that in my two years with this ISP despite running torrents etc.

Time: Everytime after updates/patches. Also get 90000 DC error. Next day it gets better.

- Occurance: Always. In game ping is almost never below 1000. Very frequently spikes to 3000-6000

- Always, but worse in instances. Titan has pretty much become insurmountable because even though I'm worlds away from the AOE, it thinks I'm still in it and blows me off the stage.
-It's not the ISP. Playing next to my bf, and he has no problems. In fact, he didn't believe that my lag could be that bad and figured that I was just moving too slowly. When we went into the instance together, on my screen I was far away, whereas on his I was right in the middle of it. He believes me now

The game is fun, and I'd love to keep playing and giving you guys money, but if I can't progress because you handicap me, I might as well take my dollars elsewhere.

Always, there is always a 3-4 second delay in everything
And in Stone Vigil 2nd boss lags out completely
