Seriously this is beyond a joke, but I realise the problem is with BT. It isn't just throttled a little, it's virtually completely dead. It takes anywhere between 10 and 20 minutes just to initiate a dialogue with NPCs. Some kind of update as to how the negitiations would be great though, as BT won't help us as individuals I gather. Apparently the only solution on an individual basis is to recontract to the true unlimited plan, but some of us, myself included, don't have that option because we aren't the account holders.
