Request for information: ISPs and P2P throttling

Pretty much any time of the day there would be major traffic. Game is pretty much unplayable for days but it will swap over and be completely fine for a few hours.

Time- Not 100% sure, I resubbed this afternoon after a few months off due to financial issues. Worked perfectly fine on release but after 2.1 it seems that Im getting occasional lag spikes. People stopping and then running is all Ive run into so far. I only played consistently from about 9 to 11 and I got the occasional lag spike during it.

I have no reference number as I havent called yet, It's late and I dont want to be on the phone for an hour or two at 12am. Will call them in the morning, though I doubt I'll get very far.

I decided not to call them directly, I used their help email to mail them my Trace Route during Prime hours. In response they told me there was nothing they could do about a Third Party Network. My problems arose from these IP's:


Ormuco ORMUCO-FIBER-NETWORK (NET-199-91-184-0-1) 199.91.184.0 - 199.91.191.255
Eidos ORMUC-SE (NET-199-91-189-0-1) 199.91.189.0 - 199.91.189.255


This is where I got an * in my Trace Route during Prime Time hours, hopefully it helps.

Time - lag started a week ago and lasts all day. never had a lag free experience since then. dungeon is unplayable so i cant farm myths and accessories

- Started on Sunday 23rd March and still ongoing. I'm unable to access the game or websites (using my phone to answer this). I have phoned them up and confirmed they have blocked the Square Enix servers though I do not have a reference number.

Hopefully this isn't a dead thread, with people still posting in hopes of something being done. :\

- Have not talked with Charter about it, did a lot of research and saw that there was really no point in bringing it up with them.
