Name of ISP: Verizon FIOS
Country of Residence: USA (California)
When does the problem occur: During the day at peak hours. Around midnight pass 1am, the mini-skip lag goes away. All this happen right after 2.1 patch.
Name of ISP : Time Warner Cable (turbo speed)
Country of residence: USA (New York)
When does the problem occur: During NA (EST) peak hours.
Dungeons for me are unplayable, it's gotten worse since 2.1, I went from rubberbanding to loosing 3-4 seconds in time, totally frozen, I have a 1 Gbps connection speed, I run at 65 fps constantly. Right now I can't even step foot inside a dungeon, it's gotten so bad. Please fix this. I play other mmos and don't experience a problem like this.
Name of ISP : UPC
Country of residence: Austria
When does the problem occur: Always since Patch 2.1

Kind of scared that SE isn't asking for traceroutes from us :/
I think it's pretty obvious that this is a widespread problem, they must have so many subs that they dont care if this makes a few hundred of us quit.

OK, this route is just messed up, I ran this a few times, each time I run it I get a different route, not even kidding.

So, starts in chatham, Ontario (where my ISP is) ok, fine
Goes to Toronto - ok moving towards Montreal.
Another hop to Toronto, ok
Then to Montreal, sweet almost there
Another montreal hop - ok getting closer!
Another Montreal hop, MUST ALMOST BE THERE!
Hop to Mississauga.. wait, WTF, you are going the wrong way!!!
Hop to somewhere in the USA, looks like Kansas... 1585KM from target location
*RAGE QUIT*
hop back to Montreal, where I just was... for another 2106KM....
SERIOUSLY WHAT THE HELL!?!?!!
And I wonder why I get lag for 10 seconds in game sometimes, yup, this is why.
So Verizon fios 50/25 (down/up) New York, trace route results to Sargatanas. Note this only happened after 2.1
it shows around 20 ms...
then it jumps up...

- When does the problem occur = Mostly evenings/peak hours but only since 2.1
for anybody using FIOS, the problem lies on verizons backbone servers (specifically level3). The lag and rubberbanding happens when it hops to level3 before reaching SE servers due to high latency and load on level3 servers.
I called and spoke with FIOS tech support and they confirmed the problem with level3, but verizon cant really do anything about it besides reporting it. FIOS is built to take the nearest route to connect to SE server's, so the hop will eventually go to level3, unless SE relocates some servers or level3 fix their server overload.. both probably won't happen anytime soon..
In the meantime, use a VPN. it's the only temporary fix that works atm..
Won't you lag using VPN? Actually how are you doing so far with the VPNfor anybody using FIOS, the problem lies on verizons backbone servers (specifically level3). The lag and rubberbanding happens when it hops to level3 before reaching SE servers due to high latency and load on level3 servers.
