    Upon logging in forced to enter code?

    So today I try to login after playing the game for about 4 days now and it's trying to get me to register again. I can't login on the website because it says I need to make a character or something. I'm completely lost. Anyone have any clues?

    did it say no valid service account is available to play FF XIV, unless you purchase the digital or register a product code?

    It didn't force me to create a new account this morning on PC. Upon login, it took me to a place where I click I already have an EA account, log in with the same account I've always used and just entered the code. Don't know about PS3 though.
    Edit: Look for the product key. It's probably the early access key that you registered which cannot be used today to regain access. I'm not sure how SE store does it, maybe check email, cause I ordered from Amazon and found product key there.

    upon entering my password in the launcher it just makes me go through the account registration steps again.. I tried entering my code again and it said code is in use. I go to the square site and my code is in there and the game is registered.... I'm lost.

    Ok so apparently I had to enter YET ANOTHER code. This is just so overly complicated of a process. Do you know how many people will try to login today and contact support over this? This is just stupid. Why does this have to be so complicated, it should just be one account and one code for everything.

    Square be prepared for support tickets, you brought this upon yourself with your overcomplicated registration processes.

    Edit: I only knew this because there is a post on reddit about it. Apparently you need to go to amazon and get the official last key (hopefully) and enter it. This will be the third key I have applied to my account, just nutty.

    EA ended today if you failed to register your product key that is when the issues begin. SE was lax on the explanation on how to do this but after trail and error I got it ok. Check Mog station to make sure your 30 day free trial is registered to your account.

    Oh so its SE's fault that you are dumb enough to think your preorder code is your game code? Get a clue. enter your actual game code and grow up.

    Sitting there looking at your game code thinking "hurr durr I do not need to enter this then!"?. Seriously.

    If I go to the store and the steps are always park car, turn off ignition, get out of car, then one day I go to squares store and the steps are, park car, turn off ignition, turn on ignition, move to another slot, park car again in different slot, turn off ignition, turn on ignition, then do this a third time 4 days later.

    Yes it's squares fault. One account, one code, the end. Every single other MMO on the market does this.

    Another problem that makes this confusing is that there is ZERO indication that this is a different code than was previously used. None, zilch. From any normal persons perspective it looks as if something very bad has happened to your account. Hence the 10+ page thread.

    Ok for everyone who got a refund from the PSN store this is what you are going to have to do in order to get back on. PSN sent out an email your to sometime this week on your ps3. if you go to that email and click on that attachment, it will take you straight to the psn store. it will pop up with a code already inputted. all you have to do is hit the confirm button and once it goes to the download screen, just back out of the store. you already have the game downloaded you just need the new code that will let you play. I just did all that and im already in the game.
