Yeah after 8 years of WoW, I don't expect every player to be "fit as a fiddle" life happens, and if your tired your tired. Or anything else for that matter... for me its you get a rested healer who is aware of things or a half dead one who might not. So to you Silmina and the OP I do hope things look up for both of you.

Like it was said, the original jerks the OP mentioned maybe were WoW players not used to FF games? I don't recall my 2 years with XI having idiots like that... but then again I stuck to my linkshell, friends, and whatever the FC system was called in XI... its been such a long time... happy Final Fantasy

New and you're level 50 already? If you got those type of time commitments to a game, its pretty eyebrow raising that you're new to internet tough guys, e-turds, and asshattery.

I have to say I've never experienced this kind of group in this game before. I can assure you it isn't the norm, and once the free access period ends and people have to actually pay to play the game hopefully these kinds of people will go away. In my experience, most of the FFXIV community is much better than what I've come to expect in other MMOs. Don't let it spoil it for you; I've had some great groups through the Duty Finder.

I played wow for almost 8 years so I've seen this happen to people alot. But so far my experience in this game have usually (luckily) all been with XI and V1.0 players and they have always went out of their way to help. Not sure what the difference between them and other mmo gamers are but its been awesome so far.

(not trying to generalize all mmo players as being difficult to get along with, just pointing out my experience with the FF vets)

It's funny, the last time I went back to WoW I leveled A Paladin tank and did a ton of Random Dungeons. Every one was really friendly and talkative until I got to about level 75, then it was all gogogogogogo and omg fail tank every time I stopped pulling for more than 5 seconds. Nice people are out there, just friend them when you find them and ignore the jack asses.

Just ignore it as most people have said already. In fact, you don't even have to give them a reason why you are leaving, just hit the leave button. The chances of you seeing them people again are slim and by that time if you do see them again, they may not even remember you and via.
People can be harsh, that why I just take my leave and not say a word. And it not like they can't get another healer to replace you, they were only being retarded.
