    Oh I agree, a basic search system, a basic linkshell ("guild") system that has a lot more functionality, basic fame systems, basic, yet effective party system where all classes actually work in their own means would surely be bad for any MMO that's released today.

    Yet XIV has not even that.

    You mean exactly like FFXI at launch?

    They indeed learned from FFXI. Unfortunately it's not a good thing as you may assume.
