Limsa Liminsa Bridge Error

Yesterday on multiple occasions while jumping across the bridge between the two markets in Limsa Liminsa I have fallen through the bridge and could not get back onto the main paths. I would walk around on the water until I could TP to my "home". I wandered around a bit and I was able to get onto the docks at the ferry but it wouldn't let me jump back over the gate into the city.
