I haven't dropped below 50 anime cause I don't tele everywhere and don't sit there using anime to quest. I walk places. Anime has nothing to do with it anyways...you use your anime up...too bad. walk.
Can't believe how lazy you guys are.

Smokie, your non-laziness and dedication is an example for us all. You, sir, are a paragon of discipline.
Looking at your Lodestone page, you've got one class to r16, one class to r10, ... and that's it for battle classes. You haven't even equipped the weapons for the other classes.
In other words, over the last 6 months, you've probably done two sets of leves.
Looks like you don't use anima to quest. Because you don't quest. And you don't teleport everywhere, because you don't go anywhere.
And yet your anima has gotten down to 50. So, despite having done pretty much nothing so far in the game, you've managed to deplete half your anima.
Congratulations. You're now Exhibit A in the argument for increased anima.

VydarrTyr ironic how you are busting everyone's balls in the "Buffs that last a bit longer" thread and yet you want "Anima that lasts a bit longer"
Your happy to make mages lives a misery (because you don't play one) yet when it comes to your own hardship you have a completely different opinion, a bit hypocritical if you ask me.

Wow, Jinko. You tracked me down from another thread to continue trolling me? Didn't get enough of it in the last thread? I'm almost flattered.VydarrTyr ironic how you are busting everyone's balls in the "Buffs that last a bit longer" thread and yet you want "Anima that lasts a bit longer"

First of all, I do play a mage. In fact, my Thm is about 27 ranks higher than yours. But I wouldn't expect facts to keep you from banging your spoon on your highchair.
And no, I wasn't busting anyone's balls in the other thread. In fact, I was doing the opposite. You'll notice that I haven't posted in that thread in a while, thinking the matter was resolved. Apparently you were disappointed when I stopped responding to your childish provocations, so you've emerged from under your bridge to run around and try to scare the children.
And by the way, really nice logical leap there. If I want "anima that lasts a little bit longer" (Oh, how clever!), then I am required to want everything in the game to last longer. Except, ya know, that doesn't make any sense.
If you've got something to add to the discussion, feel free to stick around. But if you're just here to troll me for having the audacity to disagree with you on some minor point, then I doubt anyone wants to read that. I know I don't.

I play a mage, I didn't want them to be 30mins, but I think 10 mins scaling with the number like if you receive Protect II, it lasts longer and is better (20mins or so, Protect being base 10 mins)VydarrTyr ironic how you are busting everyone's balls in the "Buffs that last a bit longer" thread and yet you want "Anima that lasts a bit longer"

I hate Anima, not really its great, but I hate the landscape and so it eats up my anima, I only have my hermes shoes once a day for 30 mins so after that its walk in dreary crap or tele :/ I'm so torn , without the addition of transport vehicles I really can't say what I would do to fix this system. A lot of it is opinion on my part to about the landscape, but others wouldn't walk anyway lol.

ide rather have them working on end game content instead of an AH
Hmm... interesting how the AH thread became the Anima thread.
Anima's fine IMO. I hardly have any and I'm a low'be too. Depends what your doing. I wanted to explore, then show the wife all the areas; presto... low anima and because I'm jumping around cities it's staying at a constant 20ish. When I have time, I run. When I want to get a crafting buff from a guild and I'm in a hurry I teleport.
Granted, I liked the BLK teleporting method in FFXI better. Just seemed to add more MMO to the game.
Something I'm not sure about thou... it's been awhile; is it longer to run from windurst to bastok to sandoria, than it is to travel from the three main cities in this game? Heck, is it longer to run to jeuno from a city in FFXI than running in between any of the FFXIV cities? Just feels like this game is smaller, but that could be my memory and the lack of zoning in this game. But I remember when I started FFXI it took FOREVER to get to the dunes.

...wait....where am I? X.x
Anyway, to contribute a little bit more to the thread’s derailment, I'll be fine with anima as is, or even lowering it or slowing it's regen rate, once new modes of transportation arrive. Since walking and teleporting are our only means of transportation at the moment, it wouldn't hurt my feelings any to have it a bit more readily available. At the moment, I travel the least amount possible. Hell, it's a busy day from me if I port from a camp, to the city, back to a camp. I basically just sit and camp behests, now, 'cause it's easier to just sit and wait 15-20 minutes between behests than teleport/walk between camps and cities.
Granted, I'm casual as hell, so I like being able to play a PS3 or 360 game while I'm waiting for behests to pop. Hella multitasking.
im glad the pro MW people failed to get the upper hand in this thread.
read it all so far and it was great fun to read. So much more fun then playing the game atm imho.
/clap @ AngryNixon (made my day, awesome fun posts)
