Having to re-registar my game

Sorry if there are a ton of posts about this, but a Square Enix site could be done better by two Monkey's screwing a football. I pre-order xiv and registered for my early access last Sat. When I got home last night from a trip out of town I logged in and played fine for hours. This morning I click on my launcher, log in, and then bam, it sends me to a registration page. I follow the instructions and when I put in my registration code it says that the Code is already in use. So I check my account in the Mog Station and it says
The following services are available for this service account:
FFXIV: A Realm Reborn - Beta Test Windows(R) ,FFXIV: A Realm Reborn - Pre-Order Code Windows(R) is registered to this service account.

and under my account it says the account is inactive. Will making it active bring my game back up, or did I manage to screw myself out of 50 bucks?

You only registered the code for the early access. Inside the game case itself has a 20 digit code for the actually game itself (as in not the early access). Type in that code, then you're good to go.

It has been posted a bagillion times.
What you registered was the preorder bonus which gave you early access.
Now you have to register the actual game code.

Make sure you're careful when you do it as it seems people fail during this and end up with a different service account instead of registering to the same service account as the early access was on.

I had this problem this morning too. I found that if I went back to the email they sent me after I purchased the game, clicked on the "Find my Order" link, filled in all the info to find the order through digital river, I was able to get my new 20-digit registration code. Anyways, using this new code I was able to re-register and log into the game.
