I don't know if I am looking in the wrong area on the English forums, but I see no mention of Japanese server maintenances on the English forums.

Are the Japanese servers currently down? I can see the EU/US server list but not the JP server list. Please realise that you have a MASSIVE component of English speaking players on the JP server group and inform appropriately.
