I'd rather not trade. It's $30 of my hard earnt money that some stranger could just scam and walk away with.

Really hope SE fixes this (and replies to my ticket 12 days old...). I was looking forward to this game but now, not so much. Unless they can somehow compensate for the delays then perhaps I might continue playing / paying.

I've certainly learnt something new though, never pre-order a game and wait a few weeks after release.
