How should they implement Chocobos?

I hope it's a system where you can call a Chocobo and it'll come running up next to you, enabling you to target it. From there you can either choose to mount up or arrange items between your saddlebags and character inventory and maybe even customize the gear your mount is wearing.

That would be awesome.
