    Chocobo rental, raising, racing, treasure hunting, extra storage (carry packs) and customisation should all be included. Not to sure about battle do you mean while sitting on your Chocobo or calling it in battle to fight along side, either option I'm not to keen on to be honest.

    A mini-game-esque quest that gives you new commands while riding a chocobo wouldn't be awful. Guild Wars did this alot, put you in a vehicle or changed your form and gave you a new action bar for the miniquest.
