    Instead of Implementing Jumping. They should let Chocobos be used for any non-standard exploration.

    If they add hidden areas they should be explorable by Chocobos.

    I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders.     I wouldn't mind that I liked doing it in past ff games with the various chocobo. like the blue allowing to run on water etc. I can fully explore worlds no spam jumpers win win in my eyes

    Because in FFXI it was a really good idea just poorly executed. You had different circuits in the cities, your Chocobo's had stats that you could build as you were raising and breeding them, during races you could use items to give little boosts, then they had betting as well on the races. It had a lot of good ideas just poorly executed, now SE has a chance to refine it and make it something great and a lot of fun.

    I hope they implement Chocobo's as part of the Grand Companies. Since the Chocobo NPC indicates they are on a shortage and can't just lend them out, I'd expect to see that once you are in certain standings with a Grand Company they should issue you a Chocobo. That would give people something to work towards. I'm talking about completing missions, and increasing the difficulty up to R50+ on Mobs. Then when completed, you are worth your weight in Chocobo. I also feel that the crafting classes should get issued a Chocobo from a Grand Company at a R30-40 quest, as their "Required" travel is way more. Same thing for DoH too.
    The Chocobo that is issued should be unique to the type that unlocked it too.
    - DoW/DoM should be armored.
    - DoH should have carrying sacks
    - DoL should have tools and such on it
    ** A DoH/DoL can't be used for mounted battle, and can only be ridden while in the respective class.
    ** DoW -- you get the idea

    --Onced issued a Chocobo for your respective class, you should be able to call it with "Chocobo Whistle (sure)" and ride it as long as you like. Within certain areas... not in cities.
