    Area loading bug

One of my PCs is having this bug since last patch. Occasionaly, when loading an area (from starting the game or zoning) the map is loading partially. This is happening more commonly around BCamp Bloodshore.

    Here some screenshots:

I might be trying to reinstall the game if it continues since its only happening in one of my PCs.

I was double checking it and even when heading out from Limsa its happening. Its all good until i pass the Extended Drawing limts (that blured texture that you have when the extended drawing is off)...when it start loading the area "for real" the texture start vanishing, like if there were no map there. I'll be reinstalling it incase the area's maps files were corrupted by the patch.

Sure. But its not my PC problem since it was running the game well until patch. Here the specs:

Operating System Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition 64bit (build 7600)
    Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i3 CPU 540 @ 3.07GHz
Number of Processors Logical Core Count 4 Physical Core Count 2
    Physical Memory 3959.078MB
    Virtual Memory 2047.875MB
    DirectX Version DirectX 11
Graphic Device(s) NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT

I'm waiting the patcher to finish downloading it all again and then i'll try running the game again. I reported it but my first guess is still that something is corrupted here...or some of my other comps would've shown similar problem since they all have the same video card.

In beta 1 nvidia was the best video card to have with the less problems. Then ATI became the best just a few low fps over the nvidia but problem is artifacts happen in nvidia i know del and redownloading ffxiv fix most of the artifacts made by the cards.

Sorry i can't be much help all i can tell you is nvidia are know to have artifacts within FFXIV. I have a ati and my gf have nvidia and i see a lot of what you see on hers but it got fix when i redownloading ffxiv there still a few left within the game tho.

I understand how greatly annoying this can be for you, so I will make sure to include all of the information that you have provided in the report to the development team, so that they may be able to investigate this matter for you. I recommend checking on this thread for any news about their findings. Thanks again for your report!
