How do you apply the PS3 registration code?

OKAY. WELL.
The ACTUAL Reg code is on the BACK of the information booklet for ps3 users! WAY TO MIND FUCK ME SE. Make sure to delete the early access/beta4 client before you start your download. This code on the back of the information booklet is, 12 digits...>>; They totally got me with that one.

That's what got me... I was looking at the stupid handout that came with it.

If you go onto your ps3 playstation network account, it willgive you the option of applying a 12 digit code which you should have in the box. Type that in then log into ffxiv and follow instructions. Be sure to not create a new account as you will lose your current progress. Sync it all up then your all done.

The 18 digit code says it's to join the 'exclusive member community'. Is this why I suddenly can't get on the lodestone? I mean I already registered it where they asked me to and it still won't let me log in to that stupid thing. >B/ I'm getting annoyed with all these codes.
