    WHM - tips and tricks.

    I'm probably slow to the party, so sorry if this is well known.

    Regen- in my opinion, a very awesome spell. But I found that if a tank pulled a group of trash mobs while s/he had regen, the first tic would always bring enmity onto myself, and it was hard for most tanks to get it back. To remedy this, I wait until I cast cure at least 2 times, and then cast regen. Then follow that by a cure 2, and then usually cure 1 is good enough after that.

    Hopefully this is helpful to someone.

    I haven't had that issue with Renew, maybe you've been unlucky with Tanks?

    I've learned Shroud is like putting my hands in front of my face and telling the monsters I'm not there.

    I recommend putting Stoneskin on tank before each pull, it works wonders with enmity problem.

    Try this. That's what I do and it works pretty well.
    The Stoneskin will be removed quickly but it will last enough of time to let the tank build his aggro.

    Small Tip : cast this spell on the tank at the end of a battle and not just before a new one.
    Why :
    3 sec to cast + fast tank = the spell may hit the tank just when he'll pull = you'll get most of the ennemies on you (I've experienced this myself).

    It's a good idea for other reasons too. You can regain that mp back that you used on the spell while there's some lag time before the next fight. And with other enhancing spells that have long recast timers, it's a good way to apply a buff and let the recast time get a jump start so you can use it sooner during a fight (for those emergency situations, trust me that'll pop up!)

    Exactly how much MP does Shroud of Saints get you back? i assume refresh is mp regen

    My favorite trick right now is at the start of dungeon trash pulls, water blast one mob away and sleep it. That way your DD can't wake it up when they use their AoE attacks.

    That's a good idea, since apparently they ignore the bind mark... knocking it completely out of range should work
